The Veolia Foundation is involved in humanitarian emergencies and development aid, protection of the environment and biodiversity, and social inclusion through work and social links. It acts through two levers: financial support and skills sponsorship.

Supported projects

Since its creation in 2004, the Foundation has supported over 1,500 projects in its three areas of intervention:

Veoliaforce skills sponsorship

The Veoliaforce skills sponsorship program is a lever for action specific to the Veolia Foundation, making the expertise of Veolia employees available to NGO partners.

Our events: with authors, students and professionals

  • The Humanitarian WASH Workshops, organized with the French Water Partnership, brings together WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) professionals for two days of discussions on water and sanitation technologies in crisis situations.

  • The Student Solidarity Prize  is awarded every year in June for innovative student solidarity initiatives.

  • The Prix du Livre Environnement and its Youth Prize recognize books and authors who raise public awareness of the planet's major challenges.

Ukraine

Since the beginning of the conflict in Eastern Europe, the Veolia Foundation has been mobilized with its partners (French Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières, Solidarités International, Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, UN agencies...) to support the populations affected by the conflict.
