In support of an emergency team from Action contre la Faim, the Foundation called on Veoliaforce volunteers in Padang (capital of West Sumatra province with 800,000 inhabitants) to help set up temporary distribution points and give nearly 30,000 disaster victims access to drinking water.
In a second phase, their expertise enabled us to assess the material requirements needed to restart one of Padang's water production plants, supplying some 300,000 people.
